Project Charity:AMX
Donation FAQ

How can I make a donation?

There are several ways that you can make a donation. You can donate time, money, parts (please refer to the Project Charity: AMX homepage for parts needs), or host the car.

How can I donate time to the restoration effort?

The best way to donate time is to contact the project coordinator at the current stop. You can find out who the project coordinator is by either checking the latest progress report or by checking the "Where's the AMX now?" page. If you still have questions about the location of the car, please contact Frank Swygert at farna@worldnet.att.net.

How can I donate money to the restoration effort?

There are two ways to donate money. The first is by mailing a check or money order (please, no cash) to:

Frank Swygert/CAMX
147 Tom Moore Road
Leesville, SC 29070-7140

803-604-6548

The second is by credit card through PayPal. To make a credit card donation, go to http://farna.home.att.net/purchase.html. Click on the button for "Canada/Mexico/Overseas and All Other Purchases" (this is the third one on the page). This will take you to the PayPal site where you can make the donation. Be sure to indicate that this is a donation for the project AMX.

How can I donate parts to the restoration effort?

To donate parts, please check the Project Charity: AMX homepage for current parts needs. Prior to sending parts, make sure to check with the project coordinator at the current stop to ensure that the part is still needed. The part needs listed on this website are generally very accurate but new parts can arrive between updates and the lists generally only encompass parts needed at the current stop. Please Note: As of this writing (May 2002) the mechanical phase of the restoration is nearing completion. Many of the parts needed at future stops will be specific to 1970 AMX's.

How can I host the car at a future stop?

If you are interested in hosting the car, please contact Frank Swygert.
