Hoover Dam

This is a model of the new bridge being constructed. The Hover Dam was constructed ahead of schedule and under budget. This bridge isn't.

Here's a view of Lake Mead from the observation deck. The rail is made of brass and there are signs all over the place warning that it can be hot.

Here are some power line towers on the Nevada side. The vertical tower is one of the cranes used during construction. It's the only one remaining.

There is a large plaza on the Arizona side dedicated to the dam and those who built it. I could not get a good shot of the entire plaza (it's too dam big) so here are a few neat things from it.
